Give me my cards back! - UC - Major? UC - Theft of tournament material?

Hello,

I want to bring up a tricky situation that came up at a GPT last weekend (i was not there, but some people brought it up to me).

Two “friends” (you'll see why the quotation marks) are playing against each other and one of them has a combo deck (player A) that, during the process of executing the combo misplays something and loses the first game. Immediately after A is very mad and asks his opponent (player B) to give him back the cards he lent B. This made B's deck unplayable as it was missing several cards that the player couldn't replace.

Given the situation I think at least an UC - Major infraction would be in place for A but, would this fall into UC - Theft of Tournament Material category?

I don't think this is the kind of behaviour Wizards would tolerate in a tournament…

Already covered (in exhausting detail) here.

Of course, as your Uncle, I recommend you only read my responses. :)
