At player one's mindslavered upkeep can player two choose to miss the “win the game” trigger?

I'm like 80% the answer is no because you while you control their triggers, this isn't a choice or an option so missing it isn't a “legal” choice.

I'd say you're right. A player can make decisions for the Mindslavered one, but within boundaries of rules. He can in no way force the player to break a rule, as he would do with missing the trigger.

Player two doesn't control player one triggers.

712.3. Only control of the player changes. All objects are controlled by their normal controllers. A player who’s being controlled during his or her turn is still the active player.

Player two doesn't have to remember player one triggers, but also can't skip the trigger if players one remember it.

The player who is being controlled by the Mindslaver's controller - Player One, in your example - is still responsible for their own triggers. The other player, who is controlling them, can't choose to ignore a trigger, once the trigger is acknowledged.

Player One will not forget their own “I win!” trigger. Thus, Mindslaver was not the answer to the problem at hand.

I think there's two ways to take what you're saying.

Just allowing them to forget) Why not? They're his opponent's triggers and you don't have to remind your opponent of their triggers.

Deciding that they forgot, even though they remembered) It's their trigger and you don't have to remind them of it. But if they remember, it's happening.

You can hope they forget, you just can't decide for them to forget

This situation actually happened in an event I was head judging. The trigger was for Dark Confidant, not Test of Endurance, but basically the same.

I ruled as the consensus seems to be here: Bob player controls the trigger, so he is responsible for remembering it. Mindslaver player doesn't have to point it out, but he can't force his opponent to miss it.

Correct - it's still their trigger, not yours, and you are never responsible for your opponent's triggers.

The problem with the Corner-Case REL forum is there are different corner cases at regular vs competative. I would still support a corner case forum though :)
