Brainstorm resolved as Ponder in error. How do I fix it?

and then correct the ongoing problem, which is that they didn't draw a card. (Brainstorm does more than draw a card, but in the end, there's one card added to the hand.) It's not a neat & clean fix, but I'd have them draw a card from the newly randomized library, and remind them to pay more attention in order to get the full benefit of their spells.

Am I correct in believing that technically this would count as a deviation?

To me, it seems more like applying GRV partial fix:
“If a player forgot to draw cards, discard cards, or return cards from their hand to another zone, that player does so.”

Sure, but the partial fix only applies in situations where the totality of the error is “player forgot to draw cards.” In this case that isn't true, strictly speaking, since the error also involves shuffling away cards that should be in known positions. Which is why I'm asking.
