If I understand correctly, Comprehensive Rules updates take effect 7/13, while MTR/IPG updates take effect 7/19.

During this nebulous week, many local game stores will still have their constructed tournaments.

Things that will change for “Monday Night Magic” (Standard/Legacy)
1. Planeswalker Uniqueness and Legend Rules
2. Sideboards can be 15 or less cards (CR 100.4)- not that we'd do anything at Regular REL anyways other than “your sideboard should be 15 or 0 cards”
3. Indestructible is an ability, and Boros Charm/Rootborn Defenses are errata'd
4. “Land plays”
5. Token ownership (Forbidden Orchard and “Hunted” erratas)
6. Convoke/Delve no longer additional costs
7. Expansion symbols no longer a characteristic
8. Duplicant has P/T and creature type of the LATEST card imprinted

The rules for how to Sideboard are outlined in the MTR (effective 7/19), so players must still sideboard 1-for-1 until then, right?

Nothing has changed with regards to token ownership with this rules update.
It's just some cards had their oracle text updated to make things more
clear.

CJ is right, thanks for clarifying that. Token ownership has not changed, just the oracle text update.
