Bestowed enchanted creature gain protection

If Andrew controls a bestowed Hopeful Eidolon attached to a Fabled Hero. Nathan then casts Glare of Heresy targeting Fabled Hero. In response, Andrew casts God's Willing targeting Fabled Hero, choosing white as it resolves. Glare of Heresy would be countered on resolution as the target is now illegal, but what happens to the Hopeful Eidolon?

Bestowed enchanted creature gain protection

Rules Manager Matt Tabak had this to say on the subject on his tumblr:

A few people have asked about what happens when a creature enchanted by an Aura with bestow gains protection from that Aura’s color (or a similarly relevant protection ability, or becomes a copy of a Tetravite token…).

This case was originally planned to be handled by an adjustment to 704.5n, but I’ve been considering just squeezing in an exception in the bestow rules. I wrote those rules about six months ago. Shrug. Anyway, however it’s handled, the Aura in question will just jump off the creature and become a creature itself.

So the answer is there in the last line: the bestowed aura will become a creature.
