Notice the link at the top of this page, pointing to the
forum protocol? It's always a good idea to find out the rules, traditions, etc., of any new forum before you try to join in. It's imperative that you do so in these forums.
Just in case you really can't be bothered to read the whole thing, here's the highlights … but really, take a few minutes, and save everyone some trouble! Over 6,000 judges worldwide appreciate your attention to these details.
- Do not talk about DQs, investigations, or Judge Test questions in public.
- Post in the correct forum, each forum has a description of the relevant subjects beneath the forum name in the forum index.
- Some forums (Rules Q&A, for one) automatically close each new post while we prepare an official answer. This prevents unofficial and even incorrect answers from cluttering and confusing.
- If you have a bug report or feedback about these forums use the “Provide Feedback” link.
- Stay on topic within a forum thread.
- Follow procedures for handling a DQ.
- Charges of misconduct (by judges, players, organizers, employees) - not in these forums please.
- Search the forums before you ask your question.
- Until a new set is released, we don't discuss the new stuff.
- Many questions are answered quickly, most within 24 hours.
- Bumping a topic won't help us answer the really tough ones - patience please.
- If you set an auto-reply of some kind, make sure you exclude forums you've set email notifications for.
- If you think you see a mistake, please contact the poster - privately.
- Be careful when emailing someone privately that you are not responding to a forum notification email.
- Forum profile pictures should be of yourself, in appropriate judge attire.
- Think before you post.
- Please learn & use the Forum's tools to improve everyone's experience.
Thanks!
