Hi, not sure if this is the right place to put this as I do not use the forums but I found an issue with a question on this website and thought I would mention it as I could not see another way to contact the author.

Question 341 says:

You control a Hydra Broodmaster, and you have a Polymorphous Rush in your hand. Your opponent controls a Polukranos, World Eater. You activate the Hydra's Monstrous ability, tapping 6 Forests, and, in response, you cast the Rush targeting your Hydra. When it resolves, you choose Polukranos. Once the Monstrous ability resolves, how big is your creature, and how much damage is dealt to your opponent's creature?'

and the answer is:

You have a 9/9 creature which deals 4 damage. It's a copy of Polukranos (so a base 5/5). Once the Monstrous ability resolves, you put 4 +1/+1 counters on it; the fact that you copied the creature after activating its ability doesn't change what the ability is doing. The newly copied Polukranos's ability triggers, since you chose a value for X, even though the abilities on the Hydra and on Polukranos aren't linked abilities.

However X is never 4 as it says you use 6 forests to activate the monstrosity ability (which is XXG) which at best means X =2.

Thought I would mention it

Charlie

There's a separate project for the Judge Booth.

Your comment is probably placed best in the forum of that project.

Kind regards,

How do I do that? I am sorry, this is the first time I have used Judge Apps and I have no idea how anything works.

Thanks,

Charlie

Charlie - you (and most judges) can't post in that forum; it's private, just for the members of that project.

This was as good a spot as any to post your feedback.

Thanks! - SM
