We noticed this weekend that the latest release of WER would not allow us to put a person in as judge when they were playing in the event. This was at both FNM and Game Day, which normally shouldn't be a problem to judge and play. Any idea if this is a bug or a feature?
We found that at FNM, if the judge is entered as a player first, it will not allow you to enter them as a judge. Game Day I was entered as judge first, and it let me enter as a player afterwards.

New release WER bug
In my case WER do not allow me to set myself as a headjudge while playing in the tournament (also casual etc.) but: then i was set under “other judges”. Probably there is no problem if i take the order of thomasĀ“ choice: judge first, than as a player. I will try it at the next tournament, maybe then there ist already a Bugfix.
I had this issue happen to me the Game Day I jugded. It worked aslong as I was entered as the judge first then enrolled as a player. The first time we had it as me as a player then a judge, we got it to work after deleting myself from the player list, then adding me as a judge, and finnally adding me in as a player.
I also encountered this problem, but after reading the posts, now know how to fix it.
I have another issue though. Advanced stores can sanction an event 7 days after it was held. The new way that WER makes you schedule an event, there is no place to select “Post Event Entry”, which means that we have to change the date on the laptop in order to capture the event. Am I missing something or might there be another update coming to remedy this?
If I recall the new UI correctly, when you sanction an event, it gives you a calendar to schedule the date of your event. In the UI while logged in as an advanced store, it gives you the current date, some time into the future, and the week prior to the current date. I'm guessing that that week prior being available was intended for post-event entry.
