We're having a PPTQ here in the middle of nowhere in Norway, and our nearest L2-judge lives 900 km away. Based on the last PPTQ here, it will cost us aprox. 35 $ per player to get him here, plus compensation.

Is it possible to have him head judge via skype? Have a proxy carrying a laptop around with the skype session. We have experienced L1s that can do the leg work.

If the closest L2 is 900 km away, then it sounds like your store may not be
capable of running a PPTQ.

You may not remotely judge an event. Being entered into an event you are not physically present at is tournament fraud.

I heavily recommend CJ's direction to contact your RC. Even if it is the case that your nearest L2+ judges are a very large distance away, your RC may be able to assist with certifying one of your experienced L1 judges to L2. That said, any specific details would have to be worked out with the RC, but it's a great place to start.
