Facedown and copy effect modifications.

If a Phyrexian Metamorph copies a facedown permanent, is it type artifact?

If a Phyrexian Metamorph copies a faceup token that was a copy of a facedown permanent, is it type artifact?

If a Phyrexian Metamorph copies a Runeclaw Bear and then later is turned face down, is it type artifact?

same questions for Sakashima the Impostor and name characteristic
same questions for Phantasmal Image and sac if targeted triggered ability
same questions for Progenitor Mimic and duplicate upkeep triggered ability
same questions for Cryptoplasm and copy upkeep triggered ability

my suspicion is the answer is yes, yes, no for each set of questions

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) No

When you copy a face-down permanent, you stay face-up, but copy what the card looks like when it's face-down (a nameless 2/2 creature with no abilities). The copy effect may specify that the copy has something in addition to copying - being an artifact, having an ability, etc. These all happen in layer 1. The copy has them even if it's copying a face-down permanent.

When you turn a permanent face-down and it was a copy of something, being face-down erases everything that is acquired in layer 1. So any abilities, types, or other characteristics that are acquired as part of a copy effect will be overridden by being face-down.

Same answers for every other scenario.
