Another thing that can be handy is a DCI lookup app for your smartphone. If there is the ability to, have a judge go up the line getting people their DCI# if they don't know what it is.

Don't mean to derail the discussion, but if there's an iPhone app for this, I'd very much appreciate it. I've typically set up my laptop and created a “DCI Lookup Station”. If I can do this from my iPhone, that'd be much more convenient.

I did some Googling and only found this one for android.

This program requires a WPN account (i.e., the kind you'd need to log into WER). DCI numbers are not publicly available anywhere, as far as I know. Even if you find someone in Judge Center by name, you can't see their DCI number in the profile. So for judges to help with this, they would be best off with a laptop using WER logged in under the TO's account.
