copying a creature land

A question was posed to me today that I wanted to verify. If a player has an activated mutavault and casts clone having the clone enter play as a copy of the mutavault creature, does the clone have the mana ability of mutavault? I thought it did. He went on to ask.if the clone would revert to a land at the end of turn, I believed it would not, but was unsure on that point. Was I right?

It's a copy of an un-animated Mutavault.

The copy effect cares only about the printed values and other copy effects. Any other effects affecting the object you're copying are ignored. The copy has all abilities printed on Mutavault (including the mana ability). It's not a creature (unless you animate the copy itself).
