L3 Qualities- Teamwork and Diplomacy

This article simply adds another to the list of outstanding articles in this series of L3 posts. I found the section on Diplomacy particularly interesting. The judge community is made up of extraordinarily intelligent people, which often follows with being opinionated. I'm no exception (to the latter anyway). Softening our language can help us more easily convey our thoughts and ramp up performance without offending anyone.

Diplomacy is the path of turning extraordinary people into an extraordinary team.

Well said, Adam. Among smart opinionated people (and we have a lot of them!), there is sometimes a tendency for us to not only have a strong opinion, but to be genuinely baffled by the idea that someone else might have a different one. Diplomacy is key in those cases.

And thanks for the praise about the article series! The authors have all done an excellent job so far (so thanks, you guys!)

Stay tuned for the rest!
