Darksteel Mutation on an animated non-creature

Azorius Keyrune becomes a creature by its own ability and then becomes enchanted by Darksteel Mutation. During the cleanup step, does Darksteel Mutation become unattached or does it continue to make Azorius Keyrune a 0/1 artifact creature and a legal object for attachment?

The deeper technical question is about exactly how the following is interpreted:

Does “enchanted creature” mean “enchanted object which must be a creature” or “enchanted object which is usually expected to be a creature”?

Oddly enough, this works.

Due to 303.4j, the Mutation will keep working and will make the Keyrune into a creature, even after the Keyrune's animation effect ends. So when the turn ends, the Keyrune's animation effect ends, but the Mutation will ensure that's it's still a creature, and since it's a creature, the Mutation will remain attached to it.
