A player has a
Courser of Kruphix in play as well as a
Windswept Heath and the top card of their library is a
Forest. Assuming that the position of every card in remaining in the library is still unknown to both players save for the revealed card, is that player allowed to propose a shortcut where they crack their
Windswept Heath, putting the Forest on the top of their library onto the battlefield, declare that their library is already in a random state and proceed from there? Or because
Windswept Heath instructs the player to search their library, are they always required to behave as though they had searched?
