Player "looking" at opponent's face down card

Hi,

(This is my first post here, so I apologize in advance for any mistakes I make when posting and will try to correct them as soon as possible.)

I was a floor judge on a PTQ this past Saturday and during the quarterfinals round a the following situation took place:

Player A is playing against player N. Player N has a facedown creature with morph on the battlefield enchanted by Siegecraft (+2/+4 enchantment). The morph is tapped having attacked during the previous turn. The tapped card completely covers the enchantment text box.

Player A attacks with a creature. Both players mark the combat damage. After that player A taps 5 mana puts an Arrow Storm on the board, moves it to his graveyard and starts writing on his life total sheet. At that moment player N asks “To me?”, to which player A responds with “It's got 6 toughness, right?”. At this moment he reaches forward in an attempt to check the text on the enchantment. He does that by putting his index finger on the far side of the morph and lifting the close side with his thumb essentially lifting the card towards himself.

Player A claims that his intention was to just move the morph and look at the enchantment beneath it. He also admits that he might have seen that the morphed card is red (the card appears to be blue at the end of the game). This is player A's first infraction for the tournament.

What would the appropriate judge call be in this case?

Looking at Extra Card, the player has said he suspects it to be red which basicly tells us that he was able to observe the face of a hidden card.

There is no solution further, you can not “unsee” this and there is obviously not a backup available. Unfortunate for player A but it happened.
Player B gets Warning for Looking at Extra Card, as far as I can tell it's dexterity error and nothing intentional. I would however also instruct player B to be more carefull when handling around hidden cards of his opponent.

A player looks at a card they were not entitled to see. Players are considered to have looked at a card when they
have been able to observe the face of a hidden card, or when a card is moved any significant amount from a deck,
but before it touches the other cards in their hand. This includes errors of dexterity or catching a play error before
the card is placed into his or her hand.

I would also instruct the player not to lift morphed cards, but rather ask the opponent if he can see the bottom card(s). Also, I might remind them that using the fingers to “push” cards apart, instead of lifting them, is generally a better solution to avoid this in the future. ;)
