"this creature" on Dragon Throne of Tarkir

On Dragon Throne of Tarkir, is “this creature” a fixed pointer to the creature that activated the granted ability? ie. it's locked in on activation.

Or is it floating? ie. it's checked on resolution.

if I activate the ability while the Throne is equipped to creature A and prior to resolution the Throne is somehow moved to creature B, does it determine X based on the power of A or B?

If the Throne isn't attached to any creature on resolution of the ability and creature A is still on the field, does it us A's power for X? or is X considered 0?

"this creature" on Dragon Throne of Tarkir

When an effect is granting an ability to a creature, and that granted ability uses the phrase “this creature” (or similar), it's talking about the creature that was granted the ability.

At no point does the ability granted by Dragon Throne of Tarkir care what, if anything, the Dragon Throne is currently attached to; moving the Throne after activation will have no effect whatsoever on the ability on the stack. If the ability granted by the Dragon Throne was trying to check the power of whatever creature the Dragon Throne was attached to on resolution, it would say that.
