Grafdigger's Cage + Lurking Predators

Grafdigger's Cage
Lurking Predators

During the resolution of the Lurking Prdators trigger a creature card is revealed.
The effect of Grafdigger's Cage stops it from being put on the field.
Can the next instruction be applied to the creature card?

Is it to be interpreted strictly as
“Otherwise, if the card isn't a creature card, EFFECT”

or can it be extended to mean
“Otherwise, if the prior action didn't happen/wasn't applicable, EFFECT”

Hi,

“Otherwise…” is referring to not revealing a creature card. If you reveal a creature card, but you can't put it onto the battlefield, then it remains on top of the library, you cannot choose to put it on the bottom of the library.
