JudgeApps (partial) Outage

Hello,

At around 8PM Eastern time today the JudgeApps server appears to have run out to free hard disk space. The team became aware of the problem around 8:43PM. Due to a combination of there only being a few people with access to fix this problem, and all of those people being at Grand Prix Las Vegas, no one has yet been able to get in to the server to correct this issue. As a result, we are aware of a few possible issues:

  • If you the feedback form at http://apps.magicjudges.org/feedback/ to report bugs or feature requests, you will get a server error. Any submissions of this form /have/ been recorded and will be restored after the downtime is over. You do not need to try again.
  • Any other emails that the site is supposed to send out, including email notifications, are currently failing. Those email notifications will (probably) not be resent after the outage. (Yes, I realize that means no one will be notified about this post.)
  • Some pages, especially large or slow pages, will fail to load completely.

Further updates will be posted as they become available. Thank you for flying Magic Judges Airlines.

Edit as of 9:55 PM Eastern: We expect an admin will be available to diagnose this issue by 1:00AM Eastern (after GP Vegas main event), at the latest.

JudgeApps (partial) Outage

According to my records, the issue was resolved at 1:52 AM, and the system re-queued the emails that failed, so everyone should have all their email notifications - no data should have been lost.

We should be back to normal. If anyone had any issues with the site over the last few hours, please try again and submit feedback using the link on the sidebar if you're still having trouble.
