Re-pairing opening hands

If two players get paired together and draw there opening hands and decide whether to mulligan or not but then it is discovered that there will be a re-pair, if they get paired again after the re-pair may they keep their opening hand?

Re-pairing opening hands

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess that this actually happened… :)

I'd say No in general, because the re-pairing cancels everything prior to that. Also because it'd be nearly impossible to ensure they really did keep their opening hands correctly.

On the odd chance that, before those two can get up and go look at pairings, the SK or Judge says to them “you two are still playing, stay there”? OK, sure, why not…
