Going Overboard - BRONZE

Morning, KP enthusiasts! We have a Bronze scenario for you this week, so please submit your answer through the form at the link below.

Arcades is playing a match against Nebuchadnezzar which is in game 2. Both players draw their opening hand of 7 cards, and Arcades immediately keeps. While considering their mulligan decision, Nebuchadnezzar realizes that they forgot to put the cards they intended to sideboard into their deck. You investigate and discover that Nebuchadnezzar's deck contains 55 cards and their sideboard contains 20 cards. The 55 card deck contains only main deck cards, with the remaining 5 main deck cards located with the sideboard.

What do you do?

Thank you, everyone, for your responses. This week we'd like to highlight this response from Caleb Gordon:

This is a Deck Problem. The Penalty is a Warning for Nebuchadnezzar, and the Additional Remedy is to return the cards taken out to the Main board. Nebuchadnezzar's deck is illegal, as it contains 55 cards. We take the 5 Main deck cards stored with their Sideboard, shuffle them into the deck, and continue to play from there. Nebuchadnezzar continues to make Mulligan decisions from hereon.

In summary:

Issue a Warning to Nebuchadnezzar for Deck Problem. Show Arcades the 5 main deck cards with the sideboard, and then shuffle them into Nebuchadnezzar's deck.
